This tournament is governed by the Official HCS Handbook. Please reference this handbook prior to registration for this tournament.
What is the bag check and security policy?
All Bags must be clear and under 12in x 12in x 6in to be allowed in the venue, and are subject to wanding and searches as needed. Wallets and wristlets no larger than 5in x 8in x 1in are permitted -Anything larger must follow the clear bag guidelines.
What is the policy on camera or recording in the venue?
Cameras must be self-contained, may not draw on Salt Palace Convention Center power sources, and must be operated by a single individual without use of ancillary equipment, such as a tripod or external lights. Pedestrian traffic may not be blocked at any point.
Where do you pick up badges?
Badges can be redeemed at the check-in desk, located at the West entrance across from the Delta Center.
Can I bring in outside food and water?
No outside food or water will be permitted. There will be a food court within the venue for attendees to purchase snacks and food.
Will there be alcoholic beverages sold?
There will be alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the venue. You must bring a physical form of identification, such as American Driver’s License or International Passport.
Halo Championship Series Prohibited items
ACCEPTABLE:
Cosplay and other costumes determined to be safe by security.Where can I find the HCS Handbook & Code of Conduct
Prop/Replica weapons as part of cosplay or other costumes: Must be submitted to security for review. Cannot contain a functioning bolt mechanism or fire a projectile of any kind. Any bow-type weapons must be unstrung or strung with a low-tensile thread. All prop arrows must have soft, non-metal, blunted tips made out of foam or cardboard only. Cannot be pointed at any individual in such a way to cause fear of harm or distress. Cosplay firearms must have brightly colored safety tips. Must be visibly tagged and visually identified as “safe” or “peace bonded”.
